NVC Message

Hi,
I got my I-140 approved in EB2 in Aug 2000 and I am "current". CP was indicated in
my I-140 application. However, NVC has not yet processed my case yet because of a mismatch in
the priority dates on the Labor Certification(30 Aug 1999) and I-140 approval(30 Aug 1997).
Last time I talked to a NVC operator I was told that they would resolve the mismatch
with INS.

When I recently called NVC, I got the recorded message,
"Information Sheet Regarding Adjustment of Status was sent on Feb. 14".

Does anybody know what this means?

that message means you have to choose between CP and AOS.

This is a standard procedure for people with priority dates in 96/97.

you can get away with sending fax/letter saying that you want to do cp.
