Packet III processing time in Mumbai

I sent my Packet III to Mumbai by Fedex on 1/26 and
tracking shows that the package was delivered successfully
four days later.

However, I called consulate and they said that the
package has not been received! Does anyone have any
experience about how long it takes the consulate
to enter Packet III into their system once it has been received? Or have they simply lost my package?

Please help! This is making me very nervous.

Hi,
One of my close friends sent his Pkt III to Mumbai and same sitation happened with him. He sent the html tracking URL along with one of his mails to Mumbai consulate. They later confoirmed that they had received the Pkt III. So my advice to you is just wait for 2/3 days and then send a mail with the Tracking URL to them and wait for their replies.

BTW did your attorney send his e-mail id in the Pkt III

It makes easier and sooner to get the case number???

I send my pkt.3 by FedEx to Mumbai on 1/24. Recd. by them on 1/27. Entered into their system by 2/1.

If going thru'NVC then you will not get a new case no. it willbe the same NVC no.
If going thru AC-140, then u will get a new case no.
