In trouble with Chennai CP

Hello,

I called Chennai to see if the appointments were out and the operator there told me that she was missing my biographic data. What did she mean?

I sent in all the documents required. I have this bad feeling that they have rejected my P3. She refused to tell me what was missing. She said call in 2 weeks to find out.

What are my options? Does it hurt to resend P3?

What could be the reason for them rejecting my P3? I checked my P3 sent and I notice that I have left item 3 (full name in native alphabet ) and 14B. Person(S) name in 12 and 13 who will follow me to the United states at a later date blank (I dont know why I did not enter "Not Applicable". Damn!!!!). Is this a reason for them to discard P3?

Waiting for help. If people in the know can reply, then I can resend P3 at the earliest.

Well, there are 2 forms you send in as part of
Pkt 3. One of them is the biographic data.

I would recommend sending it once again.
Actually, I would fax it in. Call them up
once you have faxed it in and see what they
say.

Ask the same lady if you can fax the missing info and ask her for the fax number and fax it immediately after u talk to her. Maybe call every 4-5 days after that asking them if info u faxed is sufficient and the status.

There is no way they can reject your P3, it might cause a delay...
I feel you should send the P3( both forms) once again..
put them in 'big cover', write address again on it..,
write a note/letter about you being told about the missing document...
and keep this cover in Fedex cover...

Or
if they are Ok with FAX.., just fax both of them...

I got my GC in december.., believe it is very straight forward....

Dont worry they cannot reject your P3 unless it is incomplete or u didn't sign it etc. In that case they will tell you to send another one.
Biographic informaiton is OF230(I). Fed-Ex your P3 again immediately to the consulate. You can also fax if you want, but FedEx it so you will have a record of receipt.
Maybe they have misplaced your P3 or there may be some clerical error. But take heart, they cannot reject accepting your P3 since your file from NVC is already there.

I agree with others. Don't worry. My story may comfort you. I too, like you, did not fill the item 3 (name in native alphabet). Even with that, consulate scheduled my interview in March.

Folks,

Would like to thank you all for the advice and support given.

Its pretty distressing. My I-140 was mistakenly marked for AOS and now this. I am going to have the packet 3 hand delivered on Wednesday. Hopefully things will shape up after that.
