Immigration Expenses to be borne by Employer??...

Hello

Does anyone know if there is a law that states that all immigration-related expenses must be borne by the employer and NOT the employee when the employee gets an Employment-based GC?

If anyone knows anything about this - please post.

There is definitely no law to this effect. The agreement to file your GC is just between you and your employer.

I agree with bd850.

Its usually a favor your employer is doing for you.
Obviously, the employer also gets to exploit
the employee by doing so.

In the case of a self-petition(like mine) there
is very little connection between the employer
and the green card process.
