ANyone wants to know, share 824 details and AC-140

Hiya all,

Here are my details from CSC

Category : EB2
PD: Sept 21, 2000
Labor Cleared = Approx 10 working days
140 cleared with AOS: Approx 30 working days
I-824 filed: 01/19/2001 for changing AOS to CP
Consulate: Mumbai
I-824 receipt received : 02/09/2001

Wantes to do AC-140
Fear of getting 824 approval within a short time as the processing time for 824 in CSC is showing vacant

Wants to by pass NVC(fear of getting delayed in the process of transfer of papers from CSC to NVC)

Current prioty cut off date : 07/15/2000

Sitting tight to get the April cut off date to jump beyond my priority date.

In the process of collecting the documents.

Any advice or comments or anybody with similar configuration to share the expereince or info???

Consulate: Madras


Well I collected all most all certificates all ready
In the fee time I am thinking which is good : CP or AOS !!!

You are lucky

You guys are just lucky.
I am doing this for last three years. PD Jan 98. Still stuck up with the same company for last four years.
Labor took 2 and 1/2 years
140 6 months
waiting for PD to be come current

Should be over in nexxt 8 months.....

Thanks for the email that you sent me on birth cert. Are you in EB2 or EB3 category. Must be EB3 right??? Hope that would become current next month and also at the same rate of 5 months jump. If this goes that way, you can go in July or August. I think this time frame is same for me as well. Which consulate do you belong??

Yes, I see the light at the end of the tunnel now. The PD has moved by 5 months. If this continues then I will be able to file for AOS in April. Then wait for 6 months. Recently TSC has gotten better in terms of AOS.

Anyway, I am in EB3 and from Mumbai.But I have decided to do AOS instead of CP.
