  • I-134 not required for spouse? According to AmCon

    Hi,

This question is posted for my friend. He recently asked the American Consulate about the requirement of submitting the affidavit of support. They told him neither an I-134 nor I-864 would be required for his spouse at the interview. His I-140 approval was based on EB-3. From what I read form this website, an I-134 is required for each dependent/seconday applicant. Could anyone confirm the statement made by the Consulate?

    Thanks

    Take the I-134

Regardless of what you've been told, take as many documents as you can (the guy who interviews you might not be the same person who emailed/talked to you). The I-134 does not take much effort to fill out so really it's a no-brainer.

BTW, they did ask me for the I-134 when I went for my CP with my wife.

They did not ask for I-134 at Delhi

I recently got my CP done at Delhi. The person at the window
did not ask for it. However, I will strongly recommend to take
I-134 for dependents. I did the same. It is a simple document
      to fill.

Agree with both the post, i was asked for 1-134 for all the dependent in my interveiw, i had only one. Strongly suggest you take it whatever they told you on the phone/email
