I only now saw you posting of 8/14/00 on the I485 board. Many of us here I am sure did not know of your
personal issues.
I sincerely hope that your fathers' condition has improved and that he recovers fully. Hope things are
better. God bless and thank you for your help to all the people on this forum.
Lot of these "insurance" agencies are hogwash and they are not to be trusted. To be very sure that this agency doesnt 'con more people into purchasing "insurance" from them it wouldnt' be a bad idea to let people know the name of this florida"insurance" agency.

No one really fully recovers from cancer, but he is much better now and is able to do his daily activities. He has also started going to work now.

The insurance agency is "Mercury International". That is the one that is supposed to handle (actually deny) all the claims when you buy insurance from India.

Now I have to worry about another big problem, the earthquake. My whole family is in earthquake hit Ahmedabad, with some of the relatives in Kutch also. (None of my close relatives were hurt, thank God.)

that was good luck that no one was hurt. I am sure rebuilding and return to normalcy will be a truly challenging and painful task but the main thing is thier well-being and that they didnt' get injured!
Best of luck to them and to you and hopefully things will be back to normal soon for them.
