Hi,
I do not have my original birth certificate but do have a baptism certificate and am planning to get an affidavit from my mother. Will this be sufficient? My husband's birth is not registered and it will be a pain to get a "Record not found" as he is was born pretty far from where we are in India now but he too has a baptism certificate + affidavit.
Any input will be appreciated.
