The points and facts stated by others were the same as in
my case as well..Things to remember..

1. Don't go early to the consulate before your assigned interview time.

2. My case was EB-2, AC I-140 and as per the new rules
I had taken the I-824 receipt but no one even bothered to
ask me for this receipt.

3. Check the facts on your immigrant visa when you go
to collect in the evening. One of the persons who
was with us on 26th Dec for CP interview had a wrong
surname checked on the immigrant visa. check every
piece of information.

4. My 1 yr old was sleeping and the folks at the consulate
were so considerate that they did not even called my
spouse initially in order to collect the forms.

POE information

Entered thru SFo on 6th Jan

- Stood in the new immigrants line. There
was no one except us
- Stamped our passports with temp GC
- Told that they would not need X-rays and we
should keep that safely with us should they
be required in the future
- Took fingerprint of the index finger and our
signature.

POE question

Tushar: Did u have anything else other than the package the embassy gave you )OF 155B and the sealed envelope) + ur passport at the POE? The immihelp website says something like "sealed blue envelope given by the hospital at the time of the medical examination"

regarding documents

Do you need to submit all the documents..like birth cert,marraige cert. etc or do they just see the originals...how many copies of each documents are needed.

where can i get a format for the affidavit of support letter?
