Had CP done at mumbai in january, everything went cool and there were no problems at all. Experience was similar to other postings. Thanks to immihelp and other posters on the board, could not have been so smooth without all your help. Will gladly answer any questionds specially from J1 waiver physicians looking at CP, my advise is go for it.

Hi! Congrats MUSMD!
I was wondering when i should send my pkt 3 to mumbai?
My waiver ends on jun 30th 2001.
Did they ask for any letter to prove completion of three years.

Around 2 months before the end of your waiver period is good enough as mumbai has a 2-21/2 month cycle for giving appointments.
Nobody asked for any evidence for completion of 3 years, I think they donot even know of the regulation as it is not written on any paperwork we carry. They only need the employment letter and I was asked by the american officer to show the original of the 2 year home agreement waiver fro INS.Comment
