Hi,
I have received a letter dated June 15th 2007 from U. S. Consulate General stating that my immigrant visa interview is scheduled on 30-Aug-2007 .
Recent Updated Regarding The “Cut-Off Dates For Immigrant Visas” States That “To Qualify For An Appointment, An Applicant's Priority Date (The Date That The Petition Was Filed) Must Fall Before The Cut-Off Date For The Appropriate Category”

E1 Unavailable Unavailable
E2 Unavailable Unavailable
E3 Unavailable Unavailable

My Preference category: E2-IND
Priority Date: March 2006

MY CASE NUMBER SHOWS IN Immigrant Visa Appointment Schedule for AUGUST 2007 under category E2 but my priority date is March 2006

Can anyone let me know if my interview will be CANCLED or is it still VALID.

Consulate have already taken an visa number for the lot when they issued the interview. You're safe and not caught in retrogression.

Hi Rupa,

I got an email from the Mumbai consulate today and they have cancelled my interview for Aug 30th, saying that no more visas are available.
