824 approval time in CSC--------------URGENT

I would like to know how much time does it take in CSC to get the 824 receipt and the approval. This question is for me and my friend who is coming under Cennai consulate and chennai consulate does not accept AC-140 so he needs to get the 824 approval to do CP in EB2. I need only receipt as I am coming under Mumbai consulate??

This is really urgent

It took me about 3 months for approval (Jan 01).
Not sure about receipt.

I would like to know the exact month and date, when your 824 was filed in California Service Center?

And was it approved in Jan 01?

I don't know exactly (lawyer handles this).
Middle of August 2000 when I-824 was filed to beginning of Jan 2001 when it was approved.
