Immihelp and others,
I have following questions regarding affidavit of support...
1)Do we need to submit affidavit of support Form I-134 for the spouse who will accompany me for the interview.
2)If yes then do we need to submit Form I-134 (Affidavit of Support) for spouse in packet 3?
or should that be submitted at the time of interview along with packet 4?
I would appreciate if you could clarify my questions.

to be submitted at the time of the interview. I believe you get the 1-134 in yr pkt. 4. Do not send it alongwith pkt.3

Hi loveall.. I'm confused.. supposed I dont get my pkt. IV here and pick it up at Mumbai then how can it be notariezed here in the US?

You can download the Form I-134 from this site and others. Your attorney in all likelihood will the form as well.

If you are really extra-cautious like some of us, you could keep monitoring the Mumbai web-site and send somebody with an authorization letter (to pick up your Pkt. IV) as soon as your interview is announced. The person who picks up your Pkt. IV can then courier it to you.

Also, just FYI, you will be looking at this I-134 several more times to come....

It is a general 'Affidavit of Support' and will be needed to be submitted to the consulate whenever you want to sponsor someone for visitor's visa, say your parents. Downloadable I-134 form is available in many sites. And it can be filled by yourself and does not need any inputs from your lawyer or employer.
