Do you have to have passport inorder to get police clerance? Do you have to apply at passport office for police clearance why not at police station?
My father's case was pending under (AP)(221g) and he waited for 16 months and his previous police clerance, passport clerance and medical has been expired, I believe it is good for only 6 months. He has interviewed in June 2006 and they kept his passport.
My question is can he get police and passport clearance without passport or showing his old documents? Can the medical be done same way without passport because his pasport is in US embassy's custody.
I need advise from an expert.
