My father's case was pending for 16 months under 221g, it has been cleared finally. I believe the PCC's are good for only 6 months which he submitted in June 2006.
Question
1) His passport is from Andamans/Nicobar but he is living in Punjab. Does he need passport clearance from both places Andamans and Punjab or just from Punjab is ok?
(2) Police clerance, I'm sure he needs from both places.
Did anyone go thru this process before whose case was pending under 221g then US Embassy Delhi asked for new PCC?
He needs to re do his medical and submit DS230-I&II, even though he has submitted all in June 2006 when he was interviewed.
