Police certificates from Malaysia

Thank you for a wonderful website. I have a question about obtaining a police certificate in Malaysia for my consular processing.

How can I obtain a police certificate from Malaysia since I don't live there any more? Do I have to travel there to get it?

Your website says that a police cerficate from Malaysia is not obtainable, then what should I do to deal with the police certificate for the time period when I stayed there?
