I saw your website and it contains good information, but there is something I wonder, I will really appreciate your answer.
I married US citizen and got Immigrant visa, I'd like to know about my visa and next step.
My visa indicate following,
1. IV category: IR1,
2. 212(g)(2)(B)
3. UPON ENDORSEMENT SERVES AS TEMPORARY I-551 EVIDENCING PERMANENT RESIDENCE FOR 1 YEAR.
I understand IV category, but I don't understand rest of it.
question is,
First, what means second line?
Is second line indicate bad thing?
Second, Somebody tell me that if indicated as third line, I don't need other I-551 stamp when I enter US . is that correct? if they don't stamp my passport, what they do when I enter?
Third, US embassy gave me package, I was told that give this package to the immigration officer when I enter US, I wonder what officer will do after I hand my package to him? does he or she send my file to USCIS center ?
