I am a U.S citizen and applied for my wife CR1. Her interview was on feb 13th 2008 at the mumbai embassy. The consulate gave her blue paper but it was denied under 221 (g) saying the following remarks apply in ur case....additional processing we will contact u as soon as we receive the result. They only kept the police certificates n medical reports they gave back the original marriage certificate and photocopies of other documents.They told her that they ll call her and let her know when this admistrative prcessing is over. Can anyone tell me what this means? how long approx will this additional processing take? Please let me know if any of u have similiar case. Thanks
