Chennai CP Interview in Sep - for my mom

Hi,

My mother's CP interview is scheduled in September in Chennai. We submitted all original documents to NVC except passport.

Not very clear from chennai consulate what other documents we should carry for interview?

Can someone please let me know what should we prepare for interview?

Like what questions?
what kind of photos to carry to show the relation evidence?
Do they usually provide the translator for telugu etc?

on the day of the interview, your mom need to carry
1. your mother's passport
2. interview letter
3. physical report. After the National Visa Center receives all the required documents from the principal applicant, the Center will send you an Appointment Package for Immigrant Visa Applicants and schedule your interview. Prior to the actual visa interview, all immigrant visa applicants (regardless of age) must undergo a physical examination by a doctor designated by this Consulate. Only authorized doctors may complete this examination. A list of authorized doctors is included in the Appointment Package for Immigrant Visa Applicants.)

4. supporting documents to prove relationship like old passports, old rationcards etc.

since I'm also processing g.c for my mom, i would like to know some informations.
1. did you send the police clearance certificate, medical reports to the nvc?
2. did you send any other proof of relationship to nvc?

Noted in your post that you sent originals. Did you get these back? And did you have to show these again for the in-person interview?

--Could you kindly share the questions that were asked during the Consular Processing by the USA officer in the USA embassy in your home country?

--also, what questions were asked in the SFO airport before they stamp the passport?

My father's interview is coming in 2 days. your help are greatly apprecaited

Kindly keep me in the loop on how long will the greencard arrive after you enter the USA.

At SFO airport, there were no questions other than confirming one's name, address etc.
