Visa held due to Sec 221
My parents interview was on Oct 15. My Mom got her U.S immigrant visa but for my dad, they gave him a letter saying his visa could not be issued due to ineligibility under Section 221(g). They said that they will notify when administrative processing is complete. What happens now??
One problem we could think of, was that in my Dad's passport, his first and last name is written under his given name....and the surname section is blank. The officer kept asking why it was like that and my parents told him the passport office did it like that. Should we try to get the passport corrected or wait to hear from the Embassy or VFS?
