I am on OPT and my F1 visa expired this July. I already have H1B approval notice with 'Consular Processing'. I got married in June and brought my wife to US in F2 Visa. As my H1B application was for consular processing, she did not receive any H4 approval notice. I have to get my H1B visa stamped before Dec 1st. We are planning to go to Canada for the H1 and H4 stamping. I have couple of questions regarding that:
1. My wife's Canadian Visa application was denied. The person at the Canadian consulate said that she needs to have a H4 approval notice or else she may end up staying in Canada if her H4 is rejected. Please let me know if there is any work around to get Canadian Visa for her.
2. Will there be a similar problem at US consulate in Canada, if we apply for H1 and H4 stamping together.
