F2A visa interview

Hi

Anyone get F2A category interview ..?????please give the information if anyone get. My PD is 24th feb 2017 and my all process is completed but still i am waiting for interview.

i already called uscis and also at bombay consulate but they gave same answer..wait for your turn.

Even I'm keep on calling NVC for updates. Mostly their line is busy and even when connected, same answer again and again. Average waiting time to talk to representative is at least 40 minutes. Are there others with PD before March 2017?

PD 3rd March,2017. case complete date 14th January,2019. Still didn't get interview letter yet.

Sorry for correction but do contact NVC not USCIS . Though Mumbai consulate won’t answer for your case until it’s scheduled for appointment.

for knowledge & as per my knowledge:
For now according to me “ it’s just wait & watch again “
It May be surprise anytime .
Actually it’s too long to explain the conversation that we had with, but might be anytime from now but as of now I have heard is they are somewhere near Aug/Sept - 2016 for visa interview processing’s .
so keep an eye it may take 4-6 months more or it might be a surprise inbetween Sep- Oct- Nov 2019 for PD ( JAN - JULY 2017 ) whose all documents got qualified .( might be ) Because it’s “current” the meaning is important !

Note: I am sharing this stuffs because I feel for all who are hanging nearby dates along with me.
For every knowledge shared there’s a reason , it’s not randomly or unintentionally said .

My PD is 27 Jan 2017 for F2A category ( Spouse )
Current priority date as per visa bulletin is 15 May 2017.
My application was documentarily qualified on 28 Dec 2018
I called NVC several times after my priority date became current in February 2019 visa bulletin but there was no response and when asked query they replied it’s in queue waiting for interview .!

what can be considered at present ?

So after how many weeks/months did you get welcome letter from NVC?

I'm also waiting to hear from NVC (no welcome letter or email received yet). My case was approved 23 Apr 2019 for F2A spouse from california center. My PD is also current now.

I am documentary qualified for the case & after all we are waiting for visa call interview i.e welcome letter .

Shrenuj welcome letter is the letter you first received after your case was approved containing Details about your case number and Invoice ID and the instructions to fill DS-260.

neetan12345 It depends I think so on how much work load they have. For me It took 2 and half months to receive welcome letter.

Shrenuj I am not sure how this NVC are scheduling interviews because as you are saying they are working on Aug/Sep 2016 but one of my friend was having PD October,2016 and her wife got interview in last December,2018.They were also F2A category.
