I am retired and have lived overseas for the last 4+ years. My bank accounts and investment accounts are in the USA. I file taxes in the USA from a mailing address in California. I don't physically live there anymore however (A family member does. I stay there when I visit). I am recently married and wish to return to the USA with my wife. My I-130 application has been approved and I'm awaiting my interview here in the Philippines. I seem to meet the income levels for returning to the USA with my spouse.
My question is, for my address on the I-864ez form, do I put my mailing address here in the Philippines, or is it needed I put a U.S. address on the form? I'm struggling with the whole "domicile" idea and what is needed to prove that in the eyes of the U.S. immigration service.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
