  • About CSPA

I am the son of an F3 visa applicant.
My date of birth is (ddmmyyyy): 08/04/1998
    My priority date is: 30/08/2007
    My approval date is: 04/01/2008
And my priority date became current approximately (I think): 01/09/2019
We received our invoice ID to enter CEAC on July 12. Due to some incompetent attorney, the AOS and DS-260 forms were sent last week.
WILL I BE DENIED AT THE MOMENT OF THE INTERVIEW FOR BEING 21?
If the answer is yes, then WHY DID I HAVE TO PAY $325 FOR THE DS-260 FEES AND FILL THAT FORM?
P.D.: My grandmother warned NVC before I turned 21 that I will be turning 21 on April 2019 (don't know if this helps).
    Thanks for your answers.

From what I understand from CSPA:
    - you calculate the dates between 30/08/2007 and 04/01/2008, it is only around 4 months or 127 days
    - check the date you become 21, 08/04/2019
    - add the days to your birthday, 08/04/2018 + 127 = 13/08/2019

You became 21 for CSPA purposes on August 13, 2019. Because the priority date became current after that date, then you don't qualify for CSPA. They sent you the invoice because on July 12 you were < 21 for CSPA.

I hope I'm wrong. Good luck.
Nov 2018 - Package sent - EB - Texas Service Center
Day 1 - Package received at the lockbox
Day 999 - Card delivered to me - Aug 2021

Thanks, but I am not sure about my priority date becoming current. There are two charts. If we consider Chart A ("FINAL ACTION DATES FOR FAMILY-SPONSORED PREFERENCE CASE")then my priority date became current on the date I told you (01/09/2019).
But if we consider Chart B ("DATES FOR FILING FAMILY-SPONSORED VISA APPLICATIONS") then my priority date became current on July (01/07/2019). In that case, I am eligible by CSPA?
