Which I-864 - expat petitioner, foreign relative (spouse)?

I'm a US citizen, and have lived in Japan for the last 10 years.
Married to my Japanese wife for more than 5 years.
I'm the petitioner on her I-130.

Few days ago I got notification that the I-130 was approved, and I received NVC IDs.

The AOS fee payment has been confirmed, so now I can submit the documents.
Not sure what I-864 to submit though.

I have direct family (brothers, sister, mother and father), any of whom are willing to act as sponsors for my wife, but I'm pretty certain only one is necessary.

In short, which I-864 should I and that joint - direct family member (brother) - sponsor submit?

Any help would be much appreciated.

You, as the petitioner, need to submit an I-864. If your household income is insufficient, you can find a "joint sponsor" whose household income is sufficient who also fills out a separate I-864.

newacct Thank you so much for taking the time to help me out. I got confused about the different types of I-864's (EZ, A, etc.).
Really appreciate the clarification. I'll stick with the standard one for me and the joint sponsor.

One last question regarding supplying a financial statement:

Since my income is insufficient, is it possible to just submit the I-864 and leave my financial statement as missing?

Then just submit the I-864 and financial statement of the joint sponsor that meets the income requirement?
