Hello,
I am looking for some information on form I-130 for myself (Irish citizen living in Ireland) and my spouse ( US Citizen living in US). We originally planned for my spouse to join me in Ireland but my job here is now in uncertainty due to Covid 19. We would like to begin the consular processing application for myself now to keep our future options open.
What happens if an I-130 is filled on my behalf and I proceed no further with the process. Can an approved I-130 expire ? Would there be a negative impact on a future immigration application that I might make if it does ?
I will, in the future require a C1/D Crewmember visa for my occupation if I remain in Ireland. Would having a pending or approved I-130 on my behalf, effect the ability for me (the spouse beneficiary) to obtain this visa in the future?
