My family and I attended an immigrant visa interview(my brother petitoned for me) at the US embassy. The consular officer was nice and told us all our documents and medical report are complete and good.We were asked to take our oath swearing, signed the form and thumbprint. However he issued us a letter with 221(g) remarks administrative processing. He did not ask for any additional documents. He told me he is not denying us the visa and that he will call me in 2-4 weeks and to bring our passports when call upon and to go to the embassy on mon or fri at 9am.
My concern is my eldest daughter will be ageing out by Oct 25 and furthermore she need to return to college in Florida this sept fr her fall semester. They have cancelled all our B1/B2 and F1 visa.We have not violated any law in US or my home country and am wondering why are they putting us on hold.is it for security check.Any reply from our viewers are greatly appreciated.
