Exactly in same shoes. Also tried to follow instructions posted by deftones We were advised by RELE Clinic, MUMBAI to wait for 8 days after they send the results to the US Embassy that the NVC will schedule the appointment. I also tried calling the phone number from US Travel Docs but it doesn't work. I am planning on emailing "[email protected]".
I believe dream2021 is also trying to figure out how to proceed. Should I hear any update, I will post it here. Others, please do so. Thank you and Take Care!

Is anyone aware about this situation? I cancelled July 6th consulate appointment because my medical test results are due for sputum test. I'm still waiting for medical results. In the meantime I got email from US Delhi embassy for notice of revocation of B1/B2 non-immigrant visa. Please see the following email. However, my immigrant visa is still pending. Does anyone know whom should I notify or call about this situation?

I just wanted to thank and salute people of this forum who helped me get through the visa process. This forum is extremely useful especially for someone who does not have support or attorney. Just an FYI on my mom's (76 years) experience with this process in May 2022:
Scheduled Medical exam at Apollo Hospital (7-8 days before interview date)
- You will need to call them to schedule interview
- Take necessary documents, black pen, covid paper, vaccine paper, identity document, interview letter
- You should fill their registration form online to save some time.
- They undergo very basic test. No blood work for anyone who is above 50 years old.
- Medical test was completed early by 12:00 noon. but they asked her to wait till 2:00 pm to receive results
- They send the results directly to embassy. No need to carry anything during the interview. They just give 2 pages that mention the vaccines taken which one can carry with them when they travel to US.
- Average expense: Rs. 18,000. Again depends on how many vaccines are given.
Scheduled Fingerprint at Mumbai VAC (2 days before the interview date)
We wanted to cover both fingerprint and interview in one trip as my mom has difficulty in walking and travelling.
Stayed at Ginger hotel in Bandra, Mumbai. It is about 25-30 minute drive but is way more reasonable than soffitel or Trident.
-Traveled to Mumbai in the morning of the Fingerprint.
-Checked into the Ginger hotel first (10 minutes from airport).
- Went to Mumbai VAC with necessary paper work. Very simple process. Wheel chair is provided and things went fast. Were out in 30 minutes.
- Finger prints were taken and received stamped DS form.
On the day of interview (May 2022)
Make sure to start your day early as the the line at the embassy is overwhelming and they allow people to enter way early than thier scheduled time.
Request for wheelchair early on. Make sure your papers are organized and you reharse the basic Q&A with your parents. We had requested gujarati interpretor so it was easy for my mom. She was asked one question couple of times - What was the name of her mother and questions around it.to which she was confused a little. It was because her mom's name had 'ben' as prefix which was not present in her birth certificate. The officer had to be explained that it is common to use ben in the name in traditional indian culture. Rest was all good.
My mom is now in USA and the travel was quiet easy. At the port of entry, she was not asked any major question in Atlanta where her customes took place.
Overall, for your mumbai interview, if your file is well prepared.. you will be good to go. Also, thanks to some experieced members of this forum who helps all the time. Salute to them! Great job and keep up the good work! Hope everyone find this information useful.

Hello Friends,
I've couple questions. My MIL case was documentarily qualified on April, 21, 2022. It seems IL for people DQ'd last year are coming now, so I guess it may take quite some time for us. Any rough estimate as to when we could get IL in our situation?
MIL's Indian passport is expiring in 1 year. Since the passport should have 8+ months of validity at the time of interview (and) given that our interview is likely far away, we are thinking of renewing the passport right now. If we do renew the passport, 1) Will it cause any issue with our already DQ'd case?, and 2) What is the procedure to submit new passport copies to NVC if it is OK to renew and once we have it?
Thanks in advance.

Almost a month has elapsed since the previous set of ILs were sent out. As per the extrapolation the new set of ILs are already overdue. Hopefully the NVC will be sending out the ILs within this week. Nothing is certain, all our previous calculations have gone haywire.
Best wishes to all.

As the situation stands today, people who were DQd one year ago are getting the ILs. So, if the pattern continues, then the earliest your MIL can expect the IL is Feb/March 2023. Add another month for the Interview date.
Renewing your passport is essential. It must be valid for at least six months when she travels to USA. There will be no issues with the already DQd case. I and my wife got new passports in November last year. The same were uploaded by our attorney on the website.
You have ample time. You can go the NVC website and you will find details how to upload the fresh passport.
best wishes.
