Thanks for the prompt response. That was indeed, very fast. All done now. Start exploring about how to keep yourself busy. Best wishes for the recovery of your sore hip.

Your Medical was at Gandhinagar Apollo right?
We are still waiting for the Sputum test results. We called Rele Clinic and they said that so far its negative, but asked to check back on September 6th for final report. We are thinking of waiting it until next week before scheduling VAC and Consoler appointment.
I wonder how it is negative so far, but we need to wait for final report? Have you heard anyone experience that?

I hope that makes sense.

My Parents just got the IL notification today. This Forum and its members have been really helpful in guiding through this process. Hope it goes well beyond this.
DQ for Father - Feb 6th 2022
DQ for Mother - Apr 6th 2022
IL Notification - Aug 30 2022
IL Appointment - Oct 6th 2022 (Mumbai)
I requested through AskNVC to allow them to have same interview, while they didn't guarantee it, I'm glad they did it. Now back to Forum to read posts around the next steps .

Hello All,
Received IL notification via email today.
DQ Date: April 21, 2022
Interview Date: Oct 26, 2022
Quick question. MIL's Indian passport validity would be 7 months, 29 days on the date of interview. Based on this forum discussion and rough estimate, we thought interview for her would be early next year so we were thinking of renewing the passport later this year but they scheduled it sooner (which is good).
The below note was from Mumbai Consulate page. Does the passport need to have 8+ months of validity at the time of interview? If that's the case we may need to rush to renew the passport and use new passport for medical exam and biometrics etc. hence asking this question. Please advice/share your insights.- Unexpired passport valid for eight (8) months beyond your intended date of entry to the United States.

Thanks.

Hello Forparents96,
Other than the working phone number, you don't need to download anything from India. In fact, I don't even think you need to enable international roaming specifically for incoming SMS, atleast we did not (please crosscheck with your telecom provider). If your Dad is still in India, ask him to buy one of the Govt-approved biometric scanners from India. It is quicker and much cheaper there. He can carry the same in his luggage once he comes to US. Steps are given on jeevan pramaan website. I would post the link resources, but this Immihelp forum is moderated to disallow specific names and web-links

No I did not do anything special. Just waited like all of us here. I am not sure if there is anything that can influence the process under normal circumstances. Also I don't think last IL where up to Sept 2021. I saw here or somewhere else about IL sent out to applicant who were DQed in Jan 2022.
