Getting a Bio metric appointment is very difficult. My sister has her interview on Jan 6, but could get her Biometric appointment for January 30 at Delhi. You are not allowed to go for the interview without PCC and Biometric. Now rescheduling the appointment is one big hassle. My DQ is March 2021.

AlienKanpur The last time I checked interviews were being scheduled for DQ June 2020.
Could you please confirm if your DQ is indeed March 2021? Did you expedite or is this the current interview timeline?
My DQ is May 2021 so if you could answer my questions it would really help me.

My parents interview is on Jan 12th - DQ June 2020.

Medical is done and the reports will be sent directly to the consulate except for the cd given and vaccination record that will be emailed.

Mom-dad all set for fingerprints at Delhi and Mumbai as I was not able to find any available dates at one place.

Question - Do I need to fill in and send new I-864 along with latest tax documents for 2021? Also, can someone share their experience on what kind of questions are asked to parents, any additional documents needed except the civil docs and PCC and also if both parents are interviewed at the same time or separately?

Where you see expiration for DS-260?

Expiry date on DS260 can be found after you log in to the ceac portal with your NVC case number and Invoice ID. Seems like it is valid for 2 years from the date it is submitted.

Hi all - My mom’s DQ date was July 5th 2020 and we got an interview date for Jan 21st 2022 in Mumbai. No physical letter though, just the email.

PCC - booked at local passport office for this week
VAC / Biomertics - this was a bit tricky. At first the website showed zero slots in Mumbai, so we booked an appointment in Delhi. But a few mins later upon refreshing a few times I was able to find one in Mumbai for Jan 4th. I’d suggest trying a few times during odd hours (I tried when it was around 6AM IST).

Medical - We submitted an application on the clinic website (Rele Clinic in South Mumbai) and they got back the next day with apt for Jan 17th. Apparently the medical report is sent to the embassy directly before your interview date, so you need not worry about going back to pick it up. It will cost around Rs. 18-20k they said which seems high, but we’re just thankful we got a spot.

PCC applied for my father. They did not give it right away, saying that police will verify first then it will be issued. Interview is on Jan 5 in Mumbai. Last PCC expired. Not sure what to do. Can he attend interview without current PCC. Any information will be helpful.

I have posted about interviews for my Sister and her husband, whose DQ date was June 7, 2020. My case is different. My DQ date is March 23, 2021. I have no news about my interview. I am eagerly following the updates in the forum. It seems that some people with DQ date in July 2020, have received interview calls.

Congratulations. Do you mind sharing some experience at the Consulate? How much total time it took on the day of interview?

To " GKD ". I visited Mumbai Consulate on two separate days very early in the morning to asses the ground situation. On 13th DEC early morning and 15th DEC early morning.
On the 13th, I found IR5 category persons with DQ date of April 2020. On the 15th there were absolutely no persons for the interview.
Our DQ date is August 2020.
Based upon my calculations, I feel that persons of DQ date in AUG 2020, should expect an email from the NVC by April 2022. Now, with a few interviews for the job sector being waved, there could be a marginal difference and you may get it earlier by a month. Just a possibility.

Would appreciate if persons on this forum give us a one line information if they get an interview email from the NVC, as to what their DQ date was.
For people like us, we can get an idea as to where we stand for our interview date.
