    Dear sapnaanagol,
I vaguely remember that you were scheduled to enter USA on October 9. Maybe you have arrived here? May I also say, happy days are here. best wishes.
Sorry, just remembered it is October 19 and not 9. Bon voyage.

      Dear Kotadia
My daughter also filed petitions for both of us simultaneously on USCIS. We got approved separately with a gap of 3 months. We applied and uploaded docs on NVC simultaneously after waiting for the second approval. We got DQed on same date and received IL together. I understand that NVC has not sent ILs for the entire September DQed applicants. You may expect IL in the next release which can be any time now. Best wishes.

              Dear Kotadia,
              welcome to the forum.
It has been ages, all of us have been eagerly following the IR5 cases. As a result, we have acquired IR5 visa knowledge to an extent at par with that of an agent. AS45 is not an exception.
In your case, your dad and mom had different DQDs so visa interview would have different dates. However in past we have seen that the parents with different DQDs but same priority dates were called for interview together. In your parents case, it is not clear why they did not get interview together.
Anyway, I hope your mom gets IL asap and gets visa. Congrats for your dad safely landed in USA.

I am not immigration Agent. My observation was based on the information posted on this forum by members and my own experience of having DQed in August 2021. We got IL for September 2022 when bulk ILs were released covering June to early September 2021. Based on the extrapolation, new set of ILs is overdue. Hope this clarifies and helps.

I just spoke to my sister and her husband in USA. They got their VISA approved on Jan 14 and entered USA on Feb 23. Both of them had ** marked alongside Annotation. They had absolutely no issues at the time of entry. No questions were asked.
let others please share their experiences.
I just got my mother's passport stamped with immigration visa. visa is stamped with -- "Annotation *", MED: Class B. What does that mean?

wanted 2 clarifications,at the point of entry,is there a separate Que for immigrant visa category?
Can we travel back to India soon after we receive the Green card?

                              • Hi All,

We just received my Father-in-law's passport stamped with same annotation: Class B Medical and also received a brown envelope that we cannot open. We need to provide that at the point of entry.

Any who has undergone sputum test and got approved for visa received the same? Any idea on what is in the envelope and what will we need to do at port of entry?

                                Thanks,
                                A
