best wishes to you and hopefully yours will come soon.

Would you please advise me regarding next steps in my parents green card / IR5 process. I had filed for parents I-130 forms in Jan 2020. These I-130 petitions were approved in Aug 2020. I had then uploaded my year 2019 tax transcript and also I-864A. (I am the Petitioner/Primary Sponsor and my husband is my co-sponsor). My husband had uploaded --FORM I-864A CONTRACT BETWEEN SPONSOR AND HOUSEHOLD MEMBER form.
My parents completed their IV Application on ceac.state.gov website and paid their IV fees in year 2020. Their case is currently at NVC, and their intended interview location is Mumbai.
These applications were dormant for past two years. Now we are ready to move forward with the process. My parents have obtained a Police certificate recently, and have all their Civil Documents ready.
My questions are --
1. Should I go ahead and upload recent tax documents or any other financial documents since the documents that were initially uploaded are from year 2019? If so, which all documents and do I need to indicate anything when I upload these new documents?
2. For my parents, are there any other documents needed apart from the ones here -- my (petitioner) marriage certificate, my (petitioner) birth certificate, parents' passport biographic page, soft copies of their photos, parents' birth certificate, parents' marriage certificate, & India Police Clearance Certificate.
If yes, would you please let me know.
3. After we upload these documents / photos on the ceac.state.gov website -- do we need to do anything else apart from submitting?
4. Any other potential pitfalls, thoughts, or insights so that the process could become smoother.
I really appreciate all your help!
Thanks!
Just wanted to check in again with you all. If you have any thoughts, would you please let know? Thanks

Dear All
While tracking for green card, our status changed to 'Card Being Produced' on 10 November. We had landed on October 6 and staying in California. Our I-130 filing receipt had prefix IOE , as with the case of Sweta85, and green card receipt number too had prefix IOE. For tracking, green card, fee receipt number matters. Best wishes to all waiting for SSN and green card.

Hello- We are waiting for my fathers IL. DQ date is March 2022. Question: my father is currently in canada. Can he get his medical done in canada once he receives IL for Mumbai interview or does medical test have to be in india only? Would appreciate any perspective.

Dear All,
My parents are getting ready for their flight to US. They will be flying via Air France.
I had a couple of questions:
1. Would their immigration related processing/paperwork/etc be done at the transit point (Paris, France) or once they land at the airport in USA ? I recall reading some earlier posts where people were mentioning their immigration happened at the transit point itself (Dubai I think, for Emirates flight), hence my question.
2. Do we need to fill/carry any health related forms/declarations, besides the COVID vaccination certificate ? Such as this form from the US TSA/CDC
https://public.traveldoc.aero/public...20%28en%29.pdf
3. Has anyone else recently taken Air France ?
Thank you very much.

I would suggest please check whether your parents' case is still active ? Normally after i130 approval, one has to take action of filing DS260 form with in one year, lest the case becomes invalid. If you have filled the form and submitted it and some of the documents, it is likely that the case is still open and valid. When we submit all required documents and when NVC is satisfied it will make your case "Documentarily Qualified" Once this happens you are worry free and wait for Interview Letter.
All documents you have listed are civil documents and they are definitely needed. You uploaded your tax documents of 2019 and i864, i864A which is good thing. Now please upload all other documents and finance documents of 2020, 2021 so that there will not be any deficiancy and they will make your case DQed. These days the time period between DQD and IV interview has become a little shorter (12 month). About 6 months back it was 14 months in normal cases.

As you do web check in, there will automatically be forms which you need to complete which includes COVID related form too
plz check that your parents are allowed to carry 2 check in bags, nowadays many European airlines allow only one & you may have to pay extra for another
As my brother had informed me I had checked & my husband too, we both had 2 check in bags allowed

Abu Dhabi, some airports in Canada, Ireland and Carribbean island, are authorised to conduct customs & immigration inspection of transit passengers heading to USA and after landing in USA, they are treated as domestic passangers skipping the customs and immigration. Dubai and Paris airports do not have this facility, hence no such inspection for transit passengers. Best wishes to your parents for smooth journey to USA.
