Can we use the same photo which was submitted earlier to USCIS/NVC ? Or otherwise new photo is required ?

SG2020 :- Please understand very carefully that two different sizes of photos are required for the Interview / Medical and the Biometrics process. If you visit the website, you will get the specific sizes. From my knowledge I can tell you with certainty that the larger size photos with white background on " photo quality paper " are 2 inches by 2 inches OR 51mm by 51mm without glasses. These are for the actual interview.
The other photos are our Indian passport size photos of regular size , with white background without glasses. These can be used for Biometrics and at the Medicals.

I am waiting for the passports with Visa for my parents to arrive via the courier. Does anyone know how long does it normally take? Can this be tracked? How are we contacted once the passport has arrived at the selected location?
Also, my latest tax returns and W-2 were never checked by the consular on the day of interview.

Hi All - Quick update. I received my IL. I am in IR1 category and DQ is Nov 2020. Interview is scheduled within 2 weeks though. Looks like things are speeding up!

Kd1925 :- No Sir, we are DQ 19th August 2020. The last I read on this forum was someone with 28th July DQ, having received the interview email. I am sure someone will post the August 2020 DQ
details if they get the email from the NVC. You may also kindly use your resources to keep a track Sir. I am trying from my end, but information is limited.

DQ of end July 2020 is being summoned for the Interview as of this moment. You have stated that your parents are JAN 2022 ? If you have mentioned your parents DQ date correctly, then their interview is a long way from now. Presently , on an average we have calculated the interview date as 18 months from the DQ date approximately. As the pandemic is ebbing , there are chances that things may improve in time to come, but if your stated date is correct, you are looking at, at least a one year wait period minimum for their interview email.

My in-laws completed their medical exam at Rele Clinic at Mumbai.
Medical exam date: Jan 20, 2022
Appt time : 9.00 AM
Reached : 8.15 AM
Completed Medical : 11.15 AM

Document submitted
1. 1 Passport photo 2 x 2 . Website says bring 8 photos but they took only 1
2. 2 Passport copy and Passport original
3. US consulate Interview letter
4. Rele Clinic online medical form details updated and signed by applicant
5. DS 260 form (they will return it)
6. Medical report like Cataract surgery and any prescriptions and actual medicine (although they did not see the medicine strips.bottles)


Total fees : 16, 500 per person (fees are age specific, my inlaws age is above 75 years). This includes 4 vaccinations. Each vaccination is around Rs. 2000
Payment mode: Cash. They access credit card as well.
They will take photo, Xray, height weight, personal consultation.

We had filled up the online form on Rele clinic so it was fast or else you need to update the form there.
Sitting arrange is fairly minimal even waiting area gets filled up as there were lot of folks for Medical exam.

Now interview on Jan 28. Also waiting for new PCC
