Hie Financial Years detailed tax return copy is a ten page document. In this document the Petitioner has to sign and put signature which should be the latest { as much as possible }.
So, my son sent me only the Page number 8, with his signature and the latest date of February 2022, put on it.
I just replaced the page number 8 from the old set. That's it.
In other words, the entire set becomes a freshly signed document.

Sir, After you receive your Immigrant Visa stamped on your passport, there will be a piece of paper in your envelope, which has the details of the website that you have to go to, to pay the Green Card issuance fees.
I paid by my Indian Credit card from my home.
Just remember one very important thing.
While logging in with your Alien Number and Case ID, put ONLY the three alphabets and the 10 digits after that.
Actually there are 12 digits on your Immigrant Visa. Please do not put the last two digits. Else, you cannot proceed ahead. I was stuck for sometime. I then called the Mumbai Consulate helpline and they explained me what I have written above.
After that it was a two minute process.

Hello everyone.
I am new to the site and in the same situations as everyone here, waiting for my parents' visa interview.
Father DQ Date: 12/01/2020
Mother DQ Date: 03/04/2021

I applied for 130 back in November of 2019. Now my mom’s passport got expired and we had to get it renewed. We have the copy of the renewed passport.
I am seeking advice on what to do with this new updated passport. Does it need to be updated in the system somewhere, DS260, 130 any of the previously filed forms. Please help!

Dear PNM1104, It seems that your father's DQ date is December 2020 and that of your mom is March 2021. In case their priority date is same, then hopefully they will be called for the interview together and that too on the earlier date. If things go on as speedily as they have moved, then you should expect to hear from the NVC in April.
I do not think that you can modify the passport details yourself. DS-260 once submitted cannot be modified. You may if you wish, write to the USICS to update the passport details. But that is not really necessary, you can carry both the passports to the interview. Once the VISA is approved then they will cancel your B1/B2 on the expired passport and retain your new passport for the new VISA. Best wishes. Hi,
my father has an interview in next weeks. When he went for a medical it showed TB on the xray. Now does he cancle the appointment and reschedule it or will it cancle it on its own? On there website from NVC mumbai branch said that if you have traces of TB you can bring the xray to present it to the embassy. What should we do please help. Note: he is going for a saliva test. But, it takes few months to get the results.

Dear Bhoomi, really sorry to hear about the medical condition of your father. I wonder if TB will be an hinderance in the approval of the VISA. I am not very certain, but your father can go for the interview with the medical report. They will then advise about the next course of action. Maybe he will have to submit an all clear medical report before the passport would be stamped.
There is no need to cancel the appointment, it gets canceled automatically if the person does not show up.

Passport with VISA received.

Today i.e., on Day 4 from the date of IR5 interview, Passport with IR5 visa received for Parent/ Female/ Senior received
even though both parents attended at the same time. Now visa IV category is IR5 with validity till Aug 2022 (as CMM report
validity is 6 months from the date of issue IR5 visa expires a day before).

Changes from B2 Visa (Sticker visa):

• IV Issue date: Date of interview.
• IV Expiry Date: Date before expiry of CMM report date (i.e., 6 months).
• Immigrant visa: IR5 Visa Category with Case ID (i.e., DOS ID)
• Register no/Alien no.
• Annotation: "IV Docs in CCD".

Upon endorsement serves as temporary I-551 evidencing permanent residence of 1 year.

Note:
Paid cash 650 INR to BlueDart Premium Delivery Service charges including Taxes per person.

Printed Welcome Letter is sent along with passport and as follows:

“Letter to All Immigrants and Refugees regarding Social Security Numbers:

We are pleased to welcome you to US. By law, each immigrant or refugee admitted to the USA must obtain a Social Security number. You will need a SSN to work in US, to open a bank account, to pay taxes and for many other purposes.

If you have already requested a SSN on your form DS-260, you can expect to receive your SS card at your address. If you do not receive a card at your US address within three weeks of being admitted into the USA, have not already requested an SSN, or are arriving as a refugee, please call the nearest SS office. The telephone number is listed at www.ssa.gov/locator and in the local telephone directory under “United States Government.”

Take the passport or travel document, “Alien Registration Receipt Card” (Form I-551) if any, and the birth certificate (if you have one) for each family number to the social security office. A Social Security representative will help you complete the SSN application form. My Dad had some artifact in the XRAY , so they want to do the Sputum test , result of which comes after 6 weeks. My Moms medical was cleared.
What do i do know ? Can my Mom go for Interview ? What happens to my Dad process now ?? Someone please help.

Received a printed instruction letter after US Consular IR5 Interview. A para mentions as follows:

For immigrants who underwent additional tuberculosis screening procedures, you will receive a sealed envelope with your medical
examination report inside, along with your passport. You must carry this envelope aboard with you on the plane. Give the envelope
to the immigrant officer at the US port of entry.

Hello All, I recently joined this forum and I am so glad I did. I was trying to get answers on social media and someone shared the forum link. Thank you for all your support. I am a little nervous as I have to go to India on short notice to be with my parents and take them to Mumbai or wherever they need to go for the process. It looks like people are getting 15 days' notice sometimes before the interview. I have asked my parents to get a new PCC. Is there anything else I can do to prepare? Do I need new paystubs, W-2, etc as it's been so long? I changed job as well so what do I need for that? Is there any registration I can do ahead of time? It looks like If I take NVC interview Delhi, we have to travel to Delhi and Mumbai? How easy is it to get both in Mumbai? Is there a place closest to Embassy where we can stay and the hotel provides Cab service as well?
