Very heartening to see that finally we have some movement. Congratulations and thanks to all who have received their IL. Please continue to update the progress till the approval of the VISA. Received IL letter by email today. DQ date Nov 19th. Interview April 4th 9am.

But I am struggling to get VAC appointment on website. I had tried to create a login and interview appointment in past and now it asked me to merge the account when I tried to get new appointment now. After I agreed the merge the account, it shows me just single page after logging in saying upload your passport. No other options. Anyone had this issue?

Any thoughts welcome. Thanks...

May be it wants to confirm that it’s really you. Did you get a new passport? Or it wants to confirm before merging your accounts.

After your old and new accounts are merged, please keep on trying to get VAC appointment without losing your hope, Try every half an hour. And how about Medical? Mumbai is expensive. See some other cities as well, like Ahmedabad, Surat .

PCC validity is one year from the date of issue.

I wrote on the other day that there might have been very few IR5 cases in Nov-Dec 2020 (pandemic at its peak and lockdown at NVC, Passport offices and Police) Jan-Feb-Mar 2021 were also the same. So now let me be little optimistic and tell AlienKanpur to be ready for IL sometimes in near future. Mine DQD is 3rd April.

yes, i had similar situation. When i merged account then on next page ask to upload copy of passport. i uploaded copy there and after 15 hours i got new password on my email address.
