Is Mumbai consulate scheduling interviews for IR5 (Parent of a U.S. citizen)

Just received interview letter for May 04. Going to CGI website does not show me anything on how to schedule biometric? Not sure how to book it.

My parents got appointment on May 13.
Father dq date was Jan 11 and mother dq dates on March 21.

In the interview email, I only got my father name at the begining and my mother name as a additional member.Will I receive seperate email for my mother as well?


Only family members listed below in the "Additional Applicants" section who are intending to immigrate at this time must appear at the Embassy/Consulate General on the appointment date?

according to Google sheet tracker, up to DQ date of January 13, 2021 has received IL today.

DQ-13 Jan. I was able to book VAC appointment. In the CGI website- go to schedule a new appointment, fill in info and then click yes on -Did you recieve interview letter? After that, they ask to confirm your delivery of passport (pickup or delivery) and then they show the interview dates. My mom is aged so now will have to start planning tickets around it. Does this VAC / biometric appointment look correct - confused if both parents names should be listed or just one is good. The number of applicants shows as 3 (this is including the kids who are already US citizens)? Can you please help?

Received two separate emails for parents. Both have their own Case ID.

Hi Tush, someone created this tracker for everyone's benefit. You should be able to add a new row for your own case. If not, I hope the person who owns that sheet is on this forum and can respond. Regardless, you can see that sheet to get an idea of what the current status is for the various DQ dates.

i had a question, so we live in Indiana and my parents are thinking about going to NY first then come to Indiana. If i book their ticket for NY would they create a issue about the address on file being for Indiana?

Can someone assist me. I am not able to set up biometric appointment. I opened the profile on USTravelDoc website. Submitted the feedback. But am not sure where to book bio metric appointment

My sister got her passport duly stamped by January 20, she paid for the GC soon thereafter. She entered the US on February 23. SSN arrived in about three weeks. The GC is expected in the next two weeks.

My experience while paying visa fees of 220 USD after getting GC is that the payment page enables remittance only from US bank account or US credit card and not Indian accounts/card.How did your sister pay ?
