Is Mumbai consulate scheduling interviews for IR5 (Parent of a U.S. citizen)

question on Letter of support: This form was filled in 2020 in my case and my parents have interview in May'22.

1. No need to send this document to my parents to carry it for their interview
2. Do I need to send them the old document along with tax returns 2019, 2020 etc
3. Do I send them the old document along with all the latest tax returns?

Based on recent updates, my observation is NVC sent out the IL in email every 3 weeks apart.... Last updated everyone got was on Apr 19th and 22th, earlier was on Mar 30th or 31st so we can hope some updates in week of May9th..... again this is just an assumption, i could be wrong.

Most of us in India do not have a vaccination record. During the medical examination for the GC, the necessary vaccinations will be done and charged separately. Best wishes.

How many interview date options are normally available?
My parents are currently in the USA and the DQ date is Feb 4, 2021, so expecting an interview soon. They first need to travel to India before the interview. Are many interview dates available to select from or there are just 1-2 openings and would not have many options? In later case they need to go to India on next available flight. Thanks a lot.

I added forecasting plots and data in the google sheet tracker in the Charts tab (additive model (non-linear trends are fit with yearly, weekly, and daily seasonality). You can get an estimate of your interview date from there. There is some level of uncertainty in any prediction and with the limited data, we have so check the upper and lower confidence intervals also mentioned there. Also, there is no proof of authenticity of these data so understand that.
The plot shows the DQ date on X axis and time to interview on y axis. You can add the forecasted days to the your DQ date. also attached is the tabular form of the graph.

How many vaccinations they will give to older people in the absence of vaccination records?What if they refuse due to health?

Dear khushpatel, The IL for your parents is just round the corner. In all likelihood they should get the IL in early May, hopefully before May 15. If lucky they will get three weeks for the interview. There is only one date for the interview. If some body misses the due date then rescheduling is permissible, but getting a slot is a very Herculean task. It is strongly recommended to go for the interview on the date scheduled by the NVC. I suggest that your parents should plan to reach India in the first week of May. Let me also add that all that I have written is an extrapolation and nothing is 100 percent certain. Best wishes.
