Dear YOKA, Great news. Generally there are no questions asked, because the Immigration people at the airport will access the NVC data only if they get concerned. Please keep in mind that You have to return around the time the Interview letter is sent by the NVC. Best wishes

Thank you JMS65 & AlienKanpur for your suggestions.
On the PCC matter - My parents have booked an appointment for a new PCC but in the meantime, we will go ahead and appear for the interview with the same one. I also received a reply from ustraveldocs support team that the new PCC is valid for 2 years so it should be ok.
On the account/login issue - I followed the directions shared by JMS65 and it worked like a charm. Thank you again.
Few other queries:
1) Now that I am able to log in, there are no biometrics dates available prior to the interview date (March 10). Is there any other way to get the appointment slot or do we need to reschedule the interview date?
2) We have been asked to bring the original Interview letter. I am assuming it's the email that we have received from the NVC? there is no hard copy mailed correct?
3) For the Medical, is it the only fee mentioned on the website travel state website Max hospital (Age 45 and above - Rs. 9270/-) or will there be any additional fee at the time of the medical?
Once again, thank you everyone for your help and suggestions. I will keep you posted about the progress.

Keep looking for the biometric date at any VAC centre in India. Sometimes slots just pop up. My sister had her interview on Jan 6, the earliest slot she got at Delhi was Jan 31, she booked it. Next day she saw on opening for Jan. 9 at Delhi. She froze that. She kept on looking at regular intervals through out the day and night and next day she got Jan.4 at Mumbai. So everything worked out. Try not to reschedule the interview. Keep looking, GOD willing things will fall in place. In the worst scenario if you have to reschedule then you can do so but only after the due date.
e-mail is the so called original letter. No hard copies are sent.
Fee mentioned on the website is the minimum fee. Medical fee can be higher depending on the vaccines they will get. Sometimes there could be some additional tests.
Good luck for you all. Keep us updated. My DQ date is in March 21.

1. Interview appointment letter
2. Passport
3.Two Identical Color photographs (as per guidelines for photo)
4. Confirmation page of DS 260
5. Welcome letter
6. Valid Police Clearance Certificate ( this is valid for one year from the date of issue)
7. All original documents which you have uploaded online
8. COVID vaccination certificate with passport number in it.
Petitioner’s / Household member’s (in case of additional AoS)
Subsequent w2 including the latest one.
Income evidence and job evidence.
House ownership evidence and house tax papers or rental agreement.
i-94 travel history if beneficiary has travelled to the USA before.
RSidhu, Original Naturalisation or Citizenship certificate need not be carried by the beneficiary as these docs are in possession of the petitioner and can not be sent or handed over to other individual. You are not allowed to photocopy that but for visa purpose people make photo copies and send.
It is always better to go to interview fully equipped with all evidences, no matter if they insist for or not.

DS260 application copy is not needed but keep in personal folder for review.

for biometrics and medical exams, I have no clear idea as to what docs are to be carried along.

I completed my biometrics today at VAC, Mumbai.
Appointment time 2:00pm
Allowed inside the gate 1:25pm after the guard sees your appointment time.
Made to wait for 5 minutes and then given a token.
Entered the building at 1:30 pm
Before you enter, sanitize your hands and temp check.
Go to the first floor give your token and before you enter the hall the guard asks you to check if you have all the required documents and whether you have a phone. If you do, he returns your token. You can either go back outside and hand over the phone to whoever accompanied you or else there is a private locker/ storage facility where you can store your phone.
You are again in queue before you enter another room where there is a security check.
Your documents are checked at counters to one side of the room.
You are given a token again, you wait for you token number to be displayed on the monitor.
You then go to the counter assigned to you, hand over documents.
The agent asks you for your name and date of birth and takes your photo and does your finger printing.
The agent returns your documents.
DS260 has a stamp and the photos are stapled to it.
Tells you to report to the consulate 20 minutes prior to your appointment time
I went in at 1:30 and was out by 1:50 pm
Documents:
Valid passport
VAC appointment confirmation
DS 260 confirmation page
2 US visa photos
Interview Letter.
Opposite the exit door is the locker facility where you can store your phone for Rs. 500/-
Taxis available outside opposite to the gate of the building.
Good luck to everyone.
