I am little confused about PCC. My parents got a new one directly from the regional police station. Does it have to be issued by passport office only?

Hi,
my father has an interview in next weeks. When he went for a medical it showed TB on the xray. Now does he cancle the appointment and reschedule it or will it cancle it on its own? On there website from NVC mumbai branch said that if you have traces of TB you can bring the xray to present it to the embassy. What should we do please help. Note: he is going for a saliva test. But, it takes few months to get the results.

Do they accept less than 2 year old PCC? My parents have one and I asked them to start process for a new one now, but it might be late as seems like interview can come anytime for them(DQ 24 November)

Can you please update when you get IL, my parents DQ date is 31st Jan 2021 so need to plan to go to India to help them with the process

Mr.Gharya : Here, let me caution you. On page 8 of the document, your Petitioner's fresh signature with date is required, which kindly note.
So my son had sent me the entire set, which I got photocopied and put it in my packet. Trust this helps.

I am new to the site and in the same situations as everyone here, waiting for my parents' visa interview.
Father DQ Date: 12/01/2020
Mother DQ Date: 03/04/2021

I applied for 130 back in November of 2019. Now my mom’s passport got expired and we had to get it renewed. We have the copy of the renewed passport.
I am seeking advice on what to do with this new updated passport. Does it need to be updated in the system somewhere, DS260, 130 any of the previously filed forms. Please help!

Better the sooner. Start process of PCC from Passport office/PSK ASAP. By the time IL comes, the PCC will have arrived. And by chance if it does not come you will have evidence that PCC is applied for.

Carry both passports. They will need only the new passport, but will ask for the old passport to cancel if it has a valid visa on it.

Are these DQ dates in American format or Indian format? e.g. 12/01/2020 = 12th Jan 2020 or 1st Dec 2020 ?
You can not edit i130 or DS260 forms now that you have submitted.
New Passport should be acceptable provided it is presented along with old Passport. However please confirm from some experienced person.

Some videos on YouTube give info on immigration of different categories. One of them tells that currently mumbai consulate is processing IR1, CR1, CR2, IR5 categories and they are doing it at such a speed that they will be clearing 3 months’ backlog in one month. And so it is likely that all the backlog will be cleared by June. Is this reliable news? It says that DQ dated Jan 2021 are getting IL Is this true? I want to book a flight for NY this month to visit family but now in dilema.
