Dear Krishan8, IR-1 Category is that of spouse of American Citizen. NVC has a priority order for the Interview letter. IR-1 is the number 1 priority and IR-5, I guess comes at number 5 or 6. I am not sure but perhaps IR-1 is way ahead of IR-5. Maybe somebody in the forum can be more precise.
There has been no movement in the IL as far as this forum is concerned for the last two weeks. Something similar happened in February also. Maybe we will see some hectic movement in the next two weeks. Best wishes to one and all.

I think there was no body on this forum whose DQ dates were after 27th October. And for that reason, no information of interview scheduling during that period. From some where I found an excel sheet which indicates that two people whose DQ dates were 10th and 12th Nov. have received IL on 4th March and scheduled for interview on March 25 and March 29th. The excel sheet is placed below. The link gets deleted from the conversation.

Today my Mom had the medicals and she has to go fir sputum test .Her interview is on 15th which is cancelled as of now .. Anyone here had the same problem and how did they get through later ...Please give your suggestions.

Dear Labbo, I am not an expert, but I feel that these kind of medical issues do not disqualify, things can only get a bit delayed. If you mom is already in Mumbal, she might as well attend the interview on the 15th, unless the medical personnel has advised against the same. I see no harm. The entire forum will be benifitted I guess. Best wishes.

Thanks Alien kanpur...She did go for the sputum test at lilavati hospital and there were 5 others who had there tests ..Yes seems like the final process will be delayed by 2 months ..Also receib email to not come for the interview on the 15th but she will go for her VAC appointment on 14th...Will keep everyone posted .

Sorry to hear that your mom has to go through the sputum test. It takes about 8 weeks to get the reports of the sputum test. Once they get a clear report, interview will be rescheduled.
Meanwhile you just have to wait.

These 5 others are from IR-5 category and were referred by Rele Clinic?
