Is Mumbai consulate scheduling interviews for IR5 (Parent of a U.S. citizen)

Can someone assist me. I am not able to set up biometric appointment. I opened the profile on USTravelDoc website. Submitted the feedback. But am not sure where to book bio metric appointment

Hi MOMO216 - When you go to USTraveldocs and choose your country, it takes you to which type of visa, choose Immigrant for IR5 and it routes you to the page with notices etc. read them at your discretion. At top right-hand corner select green button with "Login". It routes you to "cgifederal.secure.force" website. Select "New User" if you haven't created an account before and it will allow you to create an account. I created one for one parent, filled in the details and then it allow you to add another parent if they have same appointments. Follow the steps and you can select the location in India (only four options available) and scheduled their interview for VAC.

My experience while paying visa fees of 220 USD after getting GC is that the payment page enables remittance only from US bank account or US credit card and not Indian accounts/card.How did your sister pay ?

Received IL on 12th May for Dq 5th Jan.2020

Same for us, DQ Jan 5 2022, appointment for 12th May.

Hello All,
I am updating here on someone's behalf...... someone kept note in google tracker sheet that he/she doesn't have immihelp account.
so as per latest updated Tracker sheet on 19 Apr 2022.
DQ Date for that person is 12 Jan 2021, and Interview scheduled for 13 May 2022.......

My parents DQ August 2020. And they're still waiting for their interview. My father application did have an issue which was resolved in September 2021. But my mother's application has been clear, and been in NVC this whole time. Can someone please let me know when they can expect their interviews? It will really be helpful.

Hello Expert,

I need your help to move forward with my parent's visa interview call. I have filed for my father(DQ Jan 11, 2021) and mother (DQ March 23, 2021). I have received an email for an interview date for my father citing the additional application as my mother.on May 13. Besides, there is my brother's name is also there in the additional application but he is not immigration as his I130 is not approved and we did not file anything in NVC for him.
Do I need to schedule biomatric for both applicants? Or should I wait to receive a separate email from my mother?

Dear Varaprasad, we have seen in some earlier posts in the forum, that a gentleman with DQ date in AUG 20, and his wife with DQ date in April 21, got their interview calls for the same day. Hopefully in your case the interview should be on the same date provided that the priority date (the date when the petition was filed) was is same. Best wishes

No, there will be no hard copies. This is all that the beneficiary and the petitioners will receive.
