You should expect to get the IL within this month. Otherwise you will need to communicate with the NVC through the CEAC complaint/enquiry portal. They respond generally in 21 days. Best wishes.

My parents DQ date is Dec 11th 2020… so far no IL or email. Please suggest what are my options? Is there anyone still waiting for IL from Dec DQ.

Dear cpandya, as per the updates in the forum, people with the DQ date of February 4 have got the IL. In all likely hood you should have already got the IL. I suggest that you send an enquiry through the CEAC portal immediately. Best wishes.

I did. They responded by stating that case was documentarily qualified and they will work with embassy to schedule appointment. And this is 2 weeks ago. I requested inquiry back in february and they responded in april

urgent help. we received the interview for IV at Mumbai consulate (interview date apr 11th). when we went there, we were asked to go back as biometrics wasn't done. I scheduled and completed the biometrics a week later at chennai vac.

now how do I reschedule a consular interview at Mumbai? The ustraveldocs website only shows OFC appointment at vac center.

Priority date: 01-Mar-2020
DQ: 04-DEC-2020
Interview date: 11-Apr-2022

I see that Expiration date (DS-260) is apr-30-2022. What will happen if this expires?

My Parent's DQ Date Jan 31 and ID 13 May, Is Covid Booster shot also required? If my dad had 2 vaccines will that be ok? He has lot of health issues so don't want to take chances right now.

URGENT; My parent's passports expired during a pandemic and they got new ones, now when I am trying to take their VAC appointment they are asking for passport details, which one should I enter the one I gave on DS 260 or the new ones? Any experience?

My Dad renewed his Indian passport as his earlier had expired. Where can I upload his new passport details. His DQ is Aug 22, 2020

Did you do anything? My parents interview date just came now I am not sure if I should put old passport or new passport dates in VAC appointment form. Please help.

Dear PNM1104, It seems that your father's DQ date is December 2020 and that of your mom is March 2021. In case their priority date is same, then hopefully they will be called for the interview together and that too on the earlier date. If things go on as speedily as they have moved, then you should expect to hear from the NVC in April.
I do not think that you can modify the passport details yourself. DS-260 once submitted cannot be modified. You may if you wish, write to the USICS to update the passport details. But that is not really necessary, you can carry both the passports to the interview. Once the VISA is approved then they will cancel your B1/B2 on the expired passport and retain your new passport for the new VISA. Best wishes. is the OFC appointment and the medical appointment have to be done before 7 days of the interview.?

for the medical; do we need to call up the approved clinic ourselves and setup an appointment?

I do not know what is OFC but if you mean Biometrics and Medical appointments, then please know that appointments for both of them have to be taken by ourselves. If you go through the conversations of last two three months, all your questions will automatically be answered.
1. Go to ustraveldocs.com which is provided in your IL, and take biometrics appointment. (you may be aware that few weeks back taking biometrics appointment was a tough task) Now a days it has become relatively easy, still you will have to act fast.
2. Choose a medical facility from the NVC authorised list and get appointment and get the medical done at the earliest well before visa interview but after you have received the IL.
