Dear khushpatel, The IL for your parents is just round the corner. In all likelihood they should get the IL in early May, hopefully before May 15. If lucky they will get three weeks for the interview. There is only one date for the interview. If some body misses the due date then rescheduling is permissible, but getting a slot is a very Herculean task. It is strongly recommended to go for the interview on the date scheduled by the NVC. I suggest that your parents should plan to reach India in the first week of May. Let me also add that all that I have written is an extrapolation and nothing is 100 percent certain. Best wishes.

However, can you reduce the range of forecast or can there be any other way to predict as almost all the lower interval dates of forecast, barring the last five, are already well-past. I understand you have forecasted in the range of 100 days.
In any case, this prediction is more or less a point of hope. Thank you.
By the way, without looking at your forecast, it is vividly clear that your parents’ IL is in the near vicinity (DQD 4 feb 21) and the fact is that, that rescheduling the Interview Date is tough and time consuming / delaying, plese do not let the scheduled date go in vein.

I have a question : Is it okay for parents to travel on a tourist visa while waiting for the interview letter / appointment ? (The tourist visa already stamped for 10 years, multiple visits already happened in the past, no issues). Curious what folks think.

Mom finished interview this morning and got her visa approved ..Her appointment was at 7:30am and she came out by 9:00..basic questions were asked like what I do and names of grand kids ..this forum has been greatly helpful ..We haven’t submitted new PCC ..old one was issued in dec 2020.

So far I have not seen any forum for Family Preference category. So we do not know what is latest in F4.
For this and any other categories (other than immidiate relative category), you can go to Visa Bulletin which is regularly published every month.

My mom took medical in Hyd ..it was long appointment but uneventful ..sh didn’t have any prior documented vaccination history..they just gave few shots that are necessary and provided report

My Dad(IR5) was asked to complete the Sputum Test (End of February 2022) during the medical examination , and was asked not to go for the Interview at the Consulate.
He did complete his VAC appointment the same time. Today we came to know that his tests are negative. What happens know ? Does he need to do his VAC process again ? Can anyone help me and explain the process. Thanks in advance.

I have few questions: I am the petitioner. My parents are in India. Their DQ date is March 26/27, 2021.

1. Is there any special process to request NVC to expedite the process of interview? any special case do they allow?
2. We are trying to move to new place. What is the process of change of address notification to NVC and other related parties? Does this delay the process of getting an Interview letter?

My parents are 75+ and they don't have vaccination record, please help. Do they need it for medical exam?

My mom is 76 and did not have any vaccination record. They gave 4 vaccinations. besdies that, the exam is quiet simple for them

My parents finished their medical and vac app today, the forum has been very helpful. Their interview is May 6th. For medical, they needed past medical report , ds260 , interview letter, passport and 4 passport photos.
For fingerprinting - ds 260, il letter, passport and 1 passport photo.

We did select the home premium delivery option for passport but we are still getting a email from ustravel docs that this option is now available and we can pick this from our dashboard . But when I get to the account, I don't see this option. Thinking because we already opted to this. Is anyone getting these emails too ?

Yes, I got the email on the delivery option. Not sure why I am receiveing it As I have already selected home delivery. Going to the my dashboard does not show me anthing.
