Wanted to brief regarding the VAC for which I had been yesterday.
Its really sad to note that the officers at the counter are ignorant of the VAC after Sputum testing.Ultimately one senior officer came,then told this officer at counter to place a new stamp.I stronly suggest all those who get Sputum tests advised,do go for VAC again & get it stamped.

You have been amazingly helpful with updates. This process is extremely painful. Not sure why janit like this. I regret the day I chose to go Consular vs adjustment of status.

Delhi Max hasn’t called my mom with updates as yet. When she enquirer today they said it’s ok and the report has been sent to Mumbai. They don’t have any other info. Assuming this is good sign. I am scheduling her appointments for VAC and interview like you did without waiting on the intimation from consulate.

hope you agree with this step of mine. Also, when she goes to VAC does she just ask them to go through fingerprints routine again without disclosing that it had been done once already. ?

Congratulations on sailing through stormy waters of adverse extended time due to additional medical testing and finally reaching the shore successfully. In other words, congrats for successful interview after sputum testing. Now do not be anxious about returning of stamped passport. If the visa officer has said it will come, it will come.
Further if you really wish to offer gratitude, offer it to sapnaanagol because she being herself a sputum victim, has found out a great deal of information and shared it in the interest of needy members. Hope she also sails safely to the shore on 1st of September. All the best sapnaanagol.

For those who have gone for sputum tests, I just discovered that even sputum stain reports are available in the link that was shared on the first day I went for my medical exam. In my case, since my culture report is not available yet, am not able to see it, but those whose reports are available may be able to access it here: It works for me, hopefully it works for others as well. Thanks! Just a note, need to login to see records by generating OTP using mobile number first.
