My observations till now is that there is no malpractice or mistakes in NVC or Consulate. However, there are some cases which have some priority like cases related to veterans. There are some cases of husband wife where priority date is same but DQ dates are different still they call both h&w together on an IV date which is earlier.
If you wish still you can send an email of inquiry but please do not quote any case as example.

I believe July 25 IL were up to mid September 2021 so I was expecting August 30 should be up to Mid November 2021 but that did not happened or I don't know up to which date they have sent IL on 8/30/2022.

My mother had her exam done at Apollo in Gandhinagar and we where also given 2 papers. I might give the cd/xray at the interview but not sure about that. I do know that they send the offical medical report directly to the consulate.

hi, my parents dq date is Dec 2021 and we are still waiting for an interview letter.

All of you may surprise-my wife's dq date is 06/may/2020-that is 27 months back..sofar no il.i wrote many -inquiry forms-but i got my visa approved.i have to leave my wife and go to usa in cct'22'.we pray god.

When they say original appointment letter, what does that mean. Do we have to take the letter that came from NVC originally? I rescheduled the appointments so do i take print out of appointments from CGI website or the older one which I rescheduled. It would be great if someone can reply today

If i had to guess, I believe the appointment letter would be the latest appointment that you scheduled. The original appointment letter set up by the NVC is really of no use at this point if you had to reschedule another consular appointment. This is just my thought process, but definitely get advise from other as well, considering that there are far more senior members on this forum.

The answer is simple. Carry both letters together. Even otherwise also you have to carry all related papers and the hard copies of all uploaded documents plus any new docs like w2 and tax returns transcripts of subsequent years.

if you have rescheduled the interview, you would have received some confirmation, probably an automated mail. To my understanding you should carry the original letter that you had received as well as the confirmation of rescheduling.

Hello,
I received the IL for my mother on Aug 30th for an interview on October, 11th 2022. In the interview letter, I see "Additional Applicants" with no a# or interview data attached to it. But I see my name and my father's name (who passed away and I contacted NVC a few months ago to nullify his part of the application) I am confused why my name is part of the additional applicants.

Secondly, when I go to ustraveldocs.com to schedule biometrics, I am being asked to schedule a "Consular Interview" with some dates. If I select one of the dates, it makes me schedule an appointment at the mumbai consulate (which is strange). I was expecting that it will send me to a VAC in Chennai (where the beneficiary is) to schedule this appointment. I have attached a few screenshots on what I am seeing. Has anyone hit this issue before?

Additional details:
My mother has a new passport now. The DS-260 was filed with old passport. I assumed that we have to use the same (old passport) while registering on ustraveldocs.com and then update the DS-260 at the interview. Am I right with this assumption?

I have faced the same problem with the cgi.federal.secure.com site. This issue has been faced by many people in the past. I have contacted their call-centre number +91-120-4844644 in Ghaziabad, UP, with no results. I have written to the site manager in Canada. Let us hope we get a positive response.
