Dear friends who are pensioners, Please say something about life certificate. Every year in November we need to prove our living existence. There are some changes also in the modalities of proving that we are still living and in case of widows - not married again. However, now that we are living out of India, how to verify? Please do declare in the interest of all pensioners, how to do this.

You should feel happy because your mom's case was cleared. If there was a need for sputum test, the doctor would have said so then and there itself. Plainly speaking, it appears that she has cleared her medical successfully.

Interview Date: January 11th, 2023 (both together)

Heartiest Congratulations ssahani(Sanjay). Thanks for updating the forum. Your Dad’s DQ date seems correct, perhaps in your mom’s case it would be March 23rd, 2022 and not March 23rd 2021. My DQ was exactly March 23rd 2021. I interviewed on June 10 and entered USA EXACTLY 3 months and day, ago. Best wishes for the subsequent process. Incidentally priority date in the IR5 cases is of no consequence. Since IR5 cases are current as soon as the petition is acknowledged.

Hi SCJain, how did you get the notification? I got an email from NVC a part of it says following, if you follow the link it has all information.

• Bring this letter to your medical examination because the panel physician may need to review it before performing the examination.
• If a sponsor filed an I-864 (Affidavit of Support) AND provided the NVC with proof of an IRS Federal Income Tax Extension in lieu of a Federal Income Tax Return, you must upload this to CEAC or bring the sponsor's most recent Federal Income Tax Return to the visa interview.
• Failure to present all necessary documents to the Consular Officer will result in your immigrant visa being refused at the initial interview.

Hi,

We just recvd the interview letter and are now scheduling medical and fingerprinting.

For finger printing we are taken to this website --> https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/...&country=India

While I have added my father information, when I try add dependent (my mother) for some reason it is rejecting the DS-260 confirmation number. I have validated a 100 times the confirmation number is correct. I am stuck and unable to proceed. Any help would be appreciated.

Dear All, I am having trouble getting to OFC (Biometrics Appointment). Some questions for getting biometerics appointment via https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/...&country=India do you create separate accounts for both mother and father ? If it is one account than how do we get appointment for both of them.

In my case two separate I-130 and applications were filed for my parents.

1. I tried to create account in my fathers name and add my mother as dependent it did not work.
2. Next I tried to separate accounts for my mother and it complains that similar profile exists
3. Since I tried all of above eventually they froze my account for 72 hours .

What am I missing here, please help.

This forum is very helpful. I appreciate very much people sharing information and their experiences. Like many others I have been anxiously waiting for my father’s interview date. DQ is March 2022. Hope we get IL soon.
Question: Typically how close to interview date can we get the medical and biometrics done?
