You can go to below website, create an account with your father details and schedule biometric appointment.
https://cgifederal.secure.force.com
For medical, you have to call clinic depend on where you live. In my case it was Surat, Gujarat so I choose Apollo Clininc in Surat.
There are multiple posts with these details, so please read all.

Hello All
First time poster here.
Maybe this question has already been answered.
My parents have IR5 interview on Dec 30.
Since its holidays I came down to help them with Interview prep.
My dad is 75 - can I go with them as the helper/translator on the day of the interview?
Best Regards

Hello everyone, I learned a lot from this forum in the journey of my dad's green card process, so a big thank you to all. Finally he got the IR5 approved and stamped, and will be flying to USA in January. He is an ex government employee and gets his monthly pension. Does anyone what's the process to transfer the pension money to USA on a monthly basis?Last edited by shandey; 12-23-2022, 06:49 PM.

I am exact similar situation as you, my parents interview is scheduled for Feb 2nd (Mumbai) and I will need to update the both applicants future address in USA ( as my US address changed).
Have you able to figure out the the process to update USA address in form DS 260 ?
While talking with US Docs hotline, they mentioned I should send an email to [email protected] asking about the same , through which they will temporarily open the DS 260 form for us so we can make an update. so it gets updated before the interview at Mumbai consulate. I am bit hesitant to go that route, as by updating DS 260 will hopefully not impact consular appointment date.
Thank You in advance for your help.
Thanks
1) For NVC, use the public inquiry form to let them know of your address change. If you do a google search - 'how do i notify NVC of address change' the answer is 'To update the mailing address or phone number of anyone associated with a case, please contact NVC using our Public Inquiry Form. Remember that whenever you contact NVC please provide your case number, the name of the petitioner, and the name and date of birth of the principal visa applicant.'
2) You will need to notify USCIS separately. I think I sent an email from my USCIS account.
3) Also, if you are the sponsor, you need to submit form I-865 as sponsor's notice of change of address (google for details)

My parents interview is scheduled for January 11th (Mumbai). Both applicants future address in USA and petioner (my address in USA) is changed. I notified NVC via AskNVC and got the response that they have cleared the file and now it is up to embassy/consulate to change the address.
When parents went for biometrics they informed them but they said to inform the Mumbai consulate. What are our options, its crucial that our GC does not get lost when posted.
Any one in similar situation who was successfully able to change the address?
Thanks
Sanjay

Hello everyone. Wanted to share few details for the benefit of others. My parents were scheduled for an interview on 23rd December. I had scheduled their Biometric and Medical appointment in November. Relle clinic in Mumbai had passed my mom in medical but my dad had to go thru Sputum test. He submitted samples at Lilavati and now we are in waiting game. My mom attended interview at Consulate on 23rd December and cleared interview. Now, we are waiting for passport to be received at home. Will share more details as we receive Dad's Sputum test result and rescheduling appointment experience.

Hello Everyone-My dads interview is on Feb 23 at 8 AM. Trying to figure out when to book return flight from Mumbai as we have selected passport delivery by mail. Can we plan on leaving same day? Also how many days to receive passport if everything goes as planned? Thanks for any suggestions.

An update on Green card- Received the same today after 48 days from date of arrival. Got the SSN only after applying it for in SSA office but got it in a week.
One query- I, along with my wife, planning to visit India in Feb 23 for about 3 months. I entered US on 3rd Nov . Do you see any questions from the immigration officer when we reenter the US?
‘Heartiest congratulations on getting the Green Card and the SSN. You can now leave and enter the United States in any manner that suits you as long as your stay outside the USA is less than six months in a calendar year. There will be no issues if you reenter after three months. Best wishes.

Consulate will not allow you to accompany your father. However, your father can ask for the language translator of his choice while submitting the documents. Then his interview will be through translator. The staff and atmosphere is very cordial and your father can easily navigate the process. Lack.of english knowledge is absolutely no problem. Best wishes.

since the interview is at 8 am, your Dad, under normal circumstances, would be done before 10 am. You can easily return on the same day. A flight around 4 pm should be ok. I did the same way back in June. Best wishes for a successful adjudication.

heartiest Congratulations to you and your Dad on the approval of the immigration petition. He can contact the bank where the pension is transferred. Maybe they can do it on the monthly basis. My pension goes to SBI. But they have no provision of regular transfer. One has to fill some forms every month, send them by mail and the bank will do the needful. What I plan to do is that I will fill up one form for every month and give it to a friend who will deposit on the last day of the month. That way I can save on the FedEx charges every month. Best wishes

Hello everyone,
First off, I greatly appreciate all the useful insights and feedback received through this forum! I know my parents greatly benefited knowing what to expect during the various steps of the green card process. They completed all the requirements (medical, biometrics etc.) and successfully completed their interview a few weeks ago. They received their stamped passports within a week after the interview. They have also scheduled their trip to US in a few months. My question for the group is this - they would like to visit and stay with my brother (who is also in US but lives in a different state than me) first before coming to stay with me. Is that allowed even though my brother was not their sponsor or do they have to come to stay with me first when they first enter US as legal permanent resident? Thank you all and best wishes to those who are going through this process now.

Heartiest congratulations on the approval of the immigration petition of your parents. Generally no questions are asked by the Border control people at the port of entry. In most cases the port of entry is different from the place of residence. The officer May only enquire about the address at which they have requested the green card. They can stay anywhere after they enter USA. Best wishes. Do share the experience of your parents on this forum.

Hello Seniors,
Need your help and guidance!!!!!
Mother went to interview today 27-Dec-2021 for IR5 Visa. Her VISA got rejected.
She is a doctor and has practiced in England for 10 years from 1974 to 1984. She has returned back to India and never visited England back.
Now the Counsalate wants her to produce a POLICE CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE from UK.
-- Any guidance on where and how to get the police clearance certificate from England?
-- Do we need to submit the document online? OR take the document in person back with another interview date?
-- How do I obtain another interview date with the US Counsalate in Bombay??
