I have a question and I am hoping someone can provide me this information. My mother had medical appointment at Delhi Max center and she was given a CD and a vaccination record document. Are these the only 2 things which we were supposed to get from Max? Or is there anything else?
Also, could you please also tell me what medical examination related documents we need to carry for the interview. I am assuming that Max will send medical examination results report directly to embassy. Correct?
Thanks
UJ
These are the only two things you will be given by MAX . All the records are uploaded at the consulate website. You should carry these two documents. Most likely you will not be asked to show them. All the best for the interview.

THanks

Since the case is already DQ you need not worry about any further proof. The proof of DOB for you mom would have been submitted during the process of I-130. Just carry the originals of all the documents that you may/she may have submitted any time during the process of I-130 or DS-260. Good luck for a successful adjudication of the petition.

For Parents Green Card Interview in India
Does NVC sends interview appointment letter by mail (hard copy) or just the email appointment with all the details?
I have been following this forum. It has been very helpful throughout the Green Card process for my parents. Now they are scheduled for the interview on September 8, 2023. They have completed the biometrics and now trying to schedule their medical appointment. When they called to schedule their medical appointment, help desk asked them to bring hard copy of the interview letter. Has someone completed their Medical at Max Lajpat Nagar in New Delhi recently. Did you receive the original appointment letter to the medical appointment or the copy of the email appointment? We have only received email copy confirming appointment details but nothing in mail.
Thanks
I had my medical at MAX, Lajpat nagar Delhi in May 2022. By the original appointment letter they mean the hard copy of the e-mail that has been sent. NVC will not be sending any hard copies of the interview letter. Best wishes.

1. In previous threads on this portal, I had noticed that many people mentioned about carrying an affidavit as an alternative to missing birth certificate. I have not read such kind of instructions at US immigration website that we need to carry an affidavit if birth certificate is missing for parents. Is there an affidavit which I need to carry? If yes, then can someone share the format of the same?
2. While submitting DS-260 for my mother, I didn’t submit any document for birth certificate. I added a comment mentioning that her year of birth is 1961 therefore birth certificate is not available and my mother’s documents were accepted and got DQed and ultimately received interview letter. I can carry other documents of my mother like Aadhar Card, her passport, educational certificates to prove her birth related information.
I am just trying to ensure that I don’t miss anything. Thank you so much for any additional information or help I can get from this forum.

I know that MAX is responsible for uploading/sending medical records to the consulate but I kinda dont have much confidence on them since I had to call them multiple times to receive the vaccination records and after calling them 5 times they sent me an email with the vaccination records. Based on that experience with MAX, I am trying to ensure that everything is all set.

Thank you AlienKanpur for your response. Is it possible to access the consular website just to verify if medical records were uploaded by Max?

just do not fret. I got my medical at MAX Delhi. They are very efficient and every thing will be done as required. You did not have to even worry about the vaccination record. Every thing will be uploaded. Unfortunately I am not aware of the method by which you could ensure that your data has been uploaded or not. Have faith all will be done. best wishes

Hello Everyone ,
I want to share our experience for my mothers interview process on July 27 , 2023 at mumbai
my mother and my masi stayed in trident which is near to both biometrics center and visa center . my mother reached mumbai on 26 july at 9 am for 2;30 pm biometrics appointment . The staff at trident is extremely courteous and they checked in at 9;30 am inspite of usual check in time of 2pm . As it was raining heavily in mumbai my mother reached biometrics center at 1:45pm and the guard let her and others inside the facility and she was done with biometrics by 2;10 pm . The process is fast .
The next day mom reached visa center at 6;45 am for 7;30 am appointment and she was led inside by 7 am . At first counter the officer checked her birth certificate , PCC , DS - 260 and my fathers death certificate . He said everything looks in order and gave her a token number and asked to keep the TAX documents ready for interview . She waited for 1 hour and she was called for interview she asked for a punjabi translator at the first window where documents were checked and she got one . The following questions were asked at the interview :
1. Who is sponsoring you ?
2. Where does your daughter live ?
3. does she work? (which is ironic since I'm the only sponsor for her )
4. How many children she has ?
5. What's her husbands name ?
6. When did she go to US ?
The officer kept looking at the computer while asking questions and the translator was translating and mom was responding . He didn't see any tax documents as i had uploaded all the updated docs to the CEAC site a week ago . But i still asked mom to take printouts for everything we submitted .
after the interview was over my mom was handed over the paper saying your visa is approved and to pay immigrant fee when you receive the visa as A number and dos id is no the stamped visa.
I'm grateful to everyone on this forum for sharing their stories and responding to queries . You all truly ROCK and God bless you all .

I have a question for you. Hoping you can provide me some information. Did your mother carry her birth certificate with her or did she give any alternative document or an affidavit for birth certificate not available? My mother has an interview in August and she does not have a birth certificate since her year of birth is 1961. While submitting DS-260, I didn't submit birth certificate or any other document and just posted a comment saying birth certificate not available due to the year of birth and her case was documentarily qualified and got an interview appointment. I want to prepare for an affidavit or any alternate document to birth certificate if that is required by them.
Thank you for any information you can provide.

@ujjwal thanks for the wishes !
We were in the same boat my mother didn’t have a birth certificate and we obtained a certificate of non availibility from local authorities and also prepared 2 affidavit of birth one from my nani and one from a close relative older than my mom . Shes born in 1967 and after we obtained non availability certificate and affidavit , I read at travel.state.gov site that “ For Persons born prior to April 1 1970 the birth certificates are considered unavailable “
but we’d already submitted the above documents before being DQ and she also took the same documents during interview and was approved for visa .
I say go an extra mile and obtain non availability certificate if possible and must get 2 affidavits of birth ready by either parents or older close relatives like siblings .
hope this helps !!

I am unable to login to https://portal.ustraveldocs.com/ with my username and password to modify the VAC appointment or to retrieve the updated appointment for my parents (IR5) visa interview.
I have attempted the following:- I have modified the password on https://portal.ustraveldocs.com/ but am unable to login with the updated password.
- I have also tried to login with our credentials on your new website: https://usvisascheduling.com but it does not accept the credentials.
Has anyone noticed similar issues? Shall greatly appreciate the expert inputs from this group of experienced members. AlienKanpur Thank you
