Cheli No, I called the vfs and the person trying to help messed it up. Now all our cgi profiles show old irrelevant data. After 20 min, she said to send an email to them with screenshots which seemed really weird. Hope we’ll resolve this! There got to be a better way for this! Also my PCC expired and I couldn’t find appointment in local passport office ????????♂️

mmkk86 - I had the same issue. For my wife and daughter system was picking ds160. My wife resolved this issue before i received IL. Try these steps. You will be able to resolve on your own

You justhave to create new profiles with different email ids for your dependants and merge it with your profile..the helpdesk won't help you. They have no clue

Hi Robo81, Sorry for some reason I had it mind that your interview was on March 25th. Good to know about the VAC appointments went well. Were you able to get the slots for them easily?
Hi Mgm1 As rightly pointed out the interview is for document verification. Its just that this COVID situation had made everything get delayed and people started wishing luck because they started to get the Interview letter after a very very long wait especially in the EB category. There is nothing more to it except having all the documents ready in hand.


Hi mmkk86 86, sorry to hear that the VAC people messed up. Try resolving the CGI issue as mentioned by Robo81 and also for the PCC , you can attend the interview with the PCC you have in hand but they will ask you to submit a fresh one later before they send you the passport. So I think you should be able to get an appointment and get a new PCC by then.

National Visa Center (NVC) Immigrant Visa Backlog Report (state.gov)...request each of of you please check this backlog report from NVC month wise...Basis this...as per my opinion case will take 14-17 month to get interview schedule after its is getting documentality qualified.

Hi Cheli, my interview is yet to happen, it's on 29th March. But my medicals and Biometrics is done on 15th and 16th March. Went very smooth.
Docs for biometric- DS260 confirmation, original passports, 2 photographs each

For medicals ( mine was at Releclinic Mumbai) - DS 260 confirmation , original.passports, vaccination records, any current ailments and it's prescription like diabetes or thyroid etc, 1 photograph each. Carry whatever medicines you taking currently, they ask for it. Every center is different so it might not be the same..apart from this whatever is the charges of the tests and vaccines Will.keep.you all.updated on the interview experience next week. Hope this helps. Congratulations and good luck to guys who have received the IL.

Hi dgchem, I thought all DQed until August got their IL's but it seems not. I got Dqed in Nov2021. Hopefully we will get our IL's by the start of April. Fingers crossed.

dgchem You can have medical test at Max Lajpat Nagar and Finger Printing at VAC Delhi. When is your interview ?

Hi all, pleased to inform you that my visa got approved today. I reached consulate at about 7 am. Entered inside by 7:15 and got out by 9. It was pretty quick. When i entered an Indian officer took all my documents like birth certificate, marriage certificate, job offer letter and ds 260 confirmation stamped by vac. Then I waited for my interview turn and was called in about 30 mins.
I was asked about my Job responsibilities, how many years have I been with the same employer, previous travel and similar years of experience with same domain. Even my wife was asked about her previous travel, educational qualification and job experience.

Then he said the golden words that visa is approved..

Overall quick and pleasant..the officer was nice.
