Visiting US after form DS-260 has been submitted

Hi,

I am in the process of sponsoring green card for my parents. I just submitted their DS-260 form along with other documentation a few weeks ago, but based on how slowly things are moving and the state of appointments for interviews, I am guessing it may take a while. So I was wondering if my parents can visit me with pending approval for DS-260. Would their visitor visa from earlier (before Green Card process started) be still valid?
